Proration, Refund, and Non-Payment Policies (AZ-ESA, NH-EFA)

Proration Policy 23/24

Prenda Fee and Guide Fee the family pays will be prorated based on the quarter in which a student starts. The quarterly proration will be as follows:

Quarter 1 (July 2023 - September 2023), Quarter 4 (April 2024 - June 2024) 

  • No proration applicable 

Quarter 2 (October 2023 - December 2023)

  • Learner Start date between October 1, 2023 - November 18, 2023; Prenda will charge 100% of quarter fees

  • Learner Start date between November 19, 2023 - December 31, 2023; Prenda will charge 50% of quarter fees

Quarter 3 (January 2024 - March 2024)

  • Learner start date between January 1, 2024 - February 17, 2024; Prenda will charge 100% of quarter fees

  • Learner start date between February 18, 2024 - March 31, 2024; Prenda will charge 50% of quarter fees

Refund Policy 23/24

Prenda Fee and Guide Fee the family pays will be refunded based on the quarter in which a student is withdrawn. The quarterly refund will be as follows:

Quarter 1 (July 2023 - September 2023), Quarter 4 (April 2024 - June 2024) 

  • No refund applicable

Quarter 2 (October 2023 - December 2023)

  • Learner withdrawal between October 1, 2023 - November 18, 2023; Prenda will refund 50% of the quarter  payment 

  • Learner withdrawal between November 19, 2023 - December 31, 2023; No refund applicable 

Quarter 3 (January 2024 - March 2024)

  • Learner withdrawal between January 1, 2024 - February 17, 2024; Prenda will refund 50% of the quarter payment

  • Learner withdrawal between February 18, 2024 - March 31, 2024; No refund applicable

Non-Payment Policy 23/24

In the event of non-payment, Prenda will remove the student’s access from the Prenda platform 15 days following the quarter of non-payment. The guide has the discretion to remove a student from their microschool earlier than the 15-day post-quarter period for non-payment.

Prenda only transfers payments they receive from parents to the guides. If no payment is received, no funds will be transferred to the guide on behalf of that student.

If Prenda’s receipt of payment is delayed due to Classwallet or extenuating circumstances, parents must notify both their guide and Prenda. Please notify Prenda at support@prenda.co. Please notify the guide using your usual manner of communication. At Prenda’s discretion, reasonable accommodations will be made to keep student access to the Prenda platform available.
