How to set up a microschool in Prenda World
- After logging in, you will be prompted to give your microschool a name. Click Create microschool when complete.
- Watch the welcome video from our CEO, Kelly Smith! Click the X to close when finished.
Now you can work your way through the checklist. You’ll see that it is split into two sections:
Set up your microschool:
- Watch the welcome video.
- Complete your microschool profile. This is the public-facing page about your school.
- Set your calendar. Set the dates your school will be in session.
- Add students to your microschool. Send invites to families so they may register in your school.
- Set your fees. Determine the rates of your school.
- Share your microschool with others. Prenda provides tools to inform others about your school.
Before your first day:
- Fill out your guide profile with information about you.
- Learn more about the Prenda model.
- Join the KindlED collective, a place to learn more about what it is to be a guide and learning.
- Sign your agreement, affirming that you read and understood the legal fine print.
- Sign your direct deposit information by entering your bank information to set up payments.
