The Personalized Education Program (PEP) and Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) are scholarships available in Florida.
What is the Personalized Education Program?
The Personalized Education Program (PEP) provides parents with direct access to their child’s education funds, enabling them to choose the learning environment and resources that best suit their child's needs. PEP scholarships are available to all K-12 students in Florida who are eligible to enroll in a Florida public school.
What is the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities?
The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities provides parents with access to their child’s education funds, enabling them to choose the learning environment and resources that best suit their child's needs. FES-UA scholarships are available to K-12 students who have an active IEP or official diagnosis that would qualify them for an IEP.
PEP and FES-UA funds are managed by a scholarship funding organization (SFO). Prenda works with Step Up for Students (SUFS), an authorized SFO to provide the Prenda experience to students in Florida.
PEP and FES-UA funds can be used to pay for a student’s microschool experience, including paying the student’s quarterly Prenda invoices.
